Phase 1: Understand the 3 types of feelings: I'll explain what they three types of feelings are, and what their causes are, so that you understand yourself like never before! (Even if you've been doing inner work for years!)
Phase 2: Recognise which feeling you're feeling: I'll share the tell-tale signs for when you're feeling a needs-feeling, when you're feeling a healing-feeling, and when you're feeling a thoughts-feeling (so you can recognise what's going on for you in the moment!)
Phase 3: Know how to respond to each type of feeling: I'll guide you through the most apt responses (so that you know exactly what's most helpful for you in any situation).
Phase 4: The apt response becomes automatic for you: With practice, you'll quickly and easily know which type of feeling you're feeling, and the most supportive way to respond (even if the feelings are really big!)
Deep authenticity: I recorded this course when I was feeling lots of big feelings myself, so this is a very raw and real course, with no editing. I'm here to show you that you really are safe to be authentically yourself in your feelings now (even though for most of us, that wasn't the case, growing up in The Disconnected Domination Culture).
Decades of experience: I've been exploring feelings since starting my psychology degree in 1987. I have a PhD on the mother-infant relationship from Cambridge University, and trained and worked as a psychotherapist in the 90s. I've been working with mentees since 1992. The map of feelings I've created is inspired by Psychosynthesis, Aware Parenting, Nonviolent Communication, and The Field Project. I give credit to the sources throughout this course, (so you can also learn about my teachers and mentors, even if you've never heard of them before).
This work is deeply transformative and fast: When I teach the map of three feelings to mentees, I see them transform themselves and their lives really quickly, (even with those who've been doing self-exploration for many years). These tangible processes really work!
